Healing starts with connection

In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to lose touch with ourselves and others. At Connected Hearts Therapy, my mission as a psychologist is to help you reconnect with yourself and build meaningful relationships.

My mission

Reconnect with yourself today.

With Connected Hearts Therapy, I’m committed to help you reconnect with yourself and build meaningful relationships, knowing that the relationship we have with ourselves shapes how we experience the world.

I create a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can heal from mental health struggles, shame, and societal taboos—especially around relationships and sexuality—in a way that respects your unique experiences, including the impact of cultural differences, discrimination, and trauma.

My mission

From Isolation to Connection

While we’ve made progress in mental health awareness, many still struggle in silence, often feeling isolated by the pressures of social media or societal expectations. My goal in therapy is to break down these barriers and empower you to cultivate self-understanding, confidence, and deeper connections—both with yourself and with others. Together, we’ll work towards healing and personal growth, allowing you to embrace who you are and build stronger, more fulfilling relationships.

  • Choosing a private therapist offers several advantages, especially in a system where long waitlists can delay mental health treatment. In the Netherlands, many people wait months just for an initial diagnosis through insurance-sponsored care, postponing the start of treatment. Additionally, therapy is often only covered if you receive a formal diagnosis, and even then, you must pay the eigen risico, which is typically €385 per year. Insurance-covered therapy also often comes with a limited number of sessions, which may not be enough for your needs.

With private therapy, you benefit from faster access, greater flexibility, and a personalized approach tailored to your needs. I provide compassionate, inclusive therapy that goes beyond standard treatment—focusing on truly understanding you and offering customized support for your growth and healing.

  • An individual session lasts 60 minutes and costs €90.

If you’d like to work together but my rate is out of your budget, please reach out. I offer a limited number of sliding scale slots.
